My name is Ramez Takawy and I was a teacher for over a decade and instructional coach for the latter four years.  Ironically, I never received formal training in education!  I had to figure it out without any theory, training, or practice.  Through experience, trial and error, research, and effective PD, I gradually began to forge my path and figure it out.

Over time, I successfully deciphered the classroom formula.  I honed the craft of conducting engaging sessions, fostering genuine learning experiences, and effecting positive transformation in students at risk of academic failure.

My journey has been one of perseverance and discovery, and I am thrilled to share with you what I have learned on my journey!

What Readers are Saying

Dr. E. Scott England

"The Classroom Formula is a powerful book when coupled with Mr. Ramez' story of his education journey.  Many who have gone before him have attempted to give formulas that are trendy or niche, often missing the mark of actually helping educators succeed."

"Your blunt take combined with firsthand experience is EXACTLY what new teachers need to hear!  If they can follow this sage advice, it would go a very long way in preventing them from feeling overwhelmed - thereby preventing them from throwing in the towel."
